Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Promote Economic, Trade, and Human Resource Development Cooperation Between Cambodia and Japan






Osaka, Japan: on February 18, the Cambodia-Japan Kibou Association (CJKA) and the Japan-China Economic and Trade Relations Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen economic, and trade relations, and promote the development of technical human capital. The signing ceremony was presided over by:

It is worth noting that the Japan-China Economic and Trade Relations Center was established in 1954, before the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. The primary objective of the center is to facilitate smooth economic, trade, and human resource development cooperation between Japan and China. In this context, the signing of this MoU demonstrates the center’s commitment to contributing to economic development, investment promotion, and trade enhancement between Japan and Cambodia, as well as elevating the human resource capabilities of both countries through collaboration with the Cambodia-Japan Kibou Association.
Following the signing of the MoU, the association and the center will actively collaborate with government institutions and private sectors in both countries to achieve their shared goals and missions.
