Meeting between Cambodia-Japan Kibou Association (CJKA) and Kansai Economic Federation (KEF) on October 15

In December 2023, Prime Minister HUN MANET met with the President of the Kansai Economic Federation (KEF), one of Japan’s largest business associations with over 1,300 member companies. KEF pledged to strengthen cooperation in investment, economic development, and bilateral relations with Cambodia, working closely with Minister HENG SOUR.
As the Executive Committee Chair of CJKA, H.E NGOUV HAYLIANG arranged a productive meeting with the Head of KEF’s International Division to discuss a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CJKA and KEF.
Key Outcomes of the Meeting:
• Both organizations committed to fostering greater collaboration between Cambodia and Japan.
• KEF acknowledged Cambodia’s investment potential but highlighted the challenges their members operating in the region faced.
Together, we aim to create more growth opportunities and strengthen the partnership between both countries. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting collaboration!
